GIVEN MAFUNZWAINI MINISTRIES · REVIEW DRAFT · 16 OCTOBER 2026
Counselling & consultation terms
Clear expectations. A caring beginning.
Before a service begins
An enquiry, questionnaire, calendar listing, or invitation does not confirm an appointment. Confirm the practitioner’s role, qualifications, service scope, suitability, session length, format, location, fees, and cancellation or refund arrangements directly before booking. No session price, cancellation charge, or refund deadline is established by this website.
Consent & participation
Participation should be informed and voluntary. You may ask questions, decline an online questionnaire, leave an answer for discussion, request a pause, or discuss an individual conversation. Counselling does not require a promise to reconcile, separate, forgive, or reach a particular outcome. No improvement, reconciliation, or other result is guaranteed.
Confidentiality is discussed before disclosure
The practitioner must explain confidentiality and its limits, record access, handling of individual disclosures, and any circumstances in which information may need to be disclosed. Do not assume absolute secrecy or assume that an individual disclosure will automatically be shared with a spouse. Agree how these matters are handled before sharing sensitive details.
Couples and individual safety
Each partner completes independently. Fear, coercion, violence, or inability to speak freely requires individual review before deciding whether joint sessions are suitable. Do not share answers with a partner if this could create risk. This website does not collect the dedicated private safety section.
Scope & professional referrals
The website offers information about ministry support, counselling conversations, coaching and Christian encouragement. It does not establish a clinical diagnosis or replace medical, psychological, legal, or financial assessment. Discuss concerns outside the practitioner’s competence with an appropriate qualified professional. Faith commitments should not be used to pressure participation or a particular relationship decision.
Online sessions & communication
Confirm any online platform and its privacy arrangements before your session. Choose a private setting if safe, discuss what happens if the connection fails, and agree safe contact methods. Recording requires a separate, explicit agreement from everyone involved; do not assume permission. Email, WhatsApp and this website are not monitored emergency channels.
Questions, changes & concerns
Raise concerns about suitability, fees, boundaries, confidentiality, or conduct directly with the ministry. Ask about the applicable professional complaints route where relevant. These pages do not replace an individual service agreement or remove rights provided by applicable law.
